4. Internet-based project work

Why do Internet-based project work?

To prepare for Internet-based project work, you will need to do following:

• ·         Choose the project topic

Will your learners be researching famous people, an event or issue?

·         Make the task clear

What information will they need to find – biographical, factual, views and opinions?

• ·         Find the resources

Which websites will your learners need to visit?

Do these websites contains the information they need and they at the right level?

• ·         Decide on the outcome

What is the final purpose of the project? For example, will your learners be making a poster, a presentation or holding a debate?

You can set basic project which is a low-level project and a high-level project. The level of project must suitable to students ability, in the low-level project you can set the light topic or can related to hobby for example the topic is “My favorite actor”. The high- level project aims to provide learners with opportunity of examining a serious issue in depth, for example the topic of the project is “Global warming”.
